SERVICES

I specialize in the translation of scholarly texts from Hungarian into English in most fields in the humanities, especially art history, history, music history, archaeology and literary criticism. I also translate non-scholarly texts in the natural sciences and computer science. Feel free to contact me even if your text doesn't fit within the categories described above.

I offer a wide range of copy editing services  of English-language texts from light editing for grammar and spelling to more comprehensive revisions.

This is just a small selection of the works I’ve translated or copy edited.

ABOUT ME

My first job as a copy editor was in New York for a division of Prentice Hall, a major educational publisher. After re-locating to Budapest nearly twenty years ago, I began doing free-lance copy editing of English-language texts and eventually embarked on translating works from Hungarian into English. Among my clients are the Hungarian National Gallery; Hungarian National Museum; Central European University; Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest; and Museum of Applied Arts, Budapest.
